Greening the Desert: a Garden is an Education

Another little project we're revamping – the Jawaseri School Garden project. Near our Greening the Desert project in Jordan, this school was our first school garden in the region. It's an extremely dry hyperarid landscape with hardly any access to water.

School gardens have always been a very successful thing is permaculture and they should be promoted in all landscapes because the most important thing for a permanent culture and a future world is that children have a meaningful prospect and a positive outlook on the world they will be growing up in.
